Champagnat Feast Day

Daniel Cote Davis —

This week the school celebrated the life of Saint Marcellin Champagnat.

Due to COVID-19 the school had to split juniors and seniors up to run two Masses in the hall. Both groups reverently attended Mass and celebrated the Eucharist. At lunchtime the students were shouted a BBQ served by the Student Council then in the afternoon all students joined in a range of activities. The groups ranged from volleyball and cinema, to arts and craft, Minecraft and board games. The only activity that wasn't able to run was touch rugby because of the conditions of the field. All in all, the students participated positively and grew to know more of Saint Marcellin's gifts to us all.

Finally, a huge thank you to Father Matthew from St Patricks Church Greymouth for celebrating Mass for us today.
