As we approach the end of Week 3 of Lent

As we approach the end of Week 3 of Lent, the students are preparing for the first of our Caritas fundraisers. 

March 17 is Mufti Day, and wearing of the green, a well-supported tradition in our school and Parish. The Year 12 students who attended the leadership day have planned a cardboard sleepover in Columba Hall for mid-winter, followed by a bake day to support St Vinnies and other denominations in Greymouth/Mawhera. 

The Caritas focus is He Ara Whakamua, he Ara Hou, A New Way Forward. 

The programme of Initiation is well under way at the Parish with some JPII students participating. Please keep all participants in your prayers. 

Next Saturday John Paul II students will be hosting the Mass in Hokitika.
