The Māori New Year is upon us.

Westland High School with support from WestREAP, Westland District Council, Westland Library, and Hokitika Lantern Parade are celebrating Matariki. 

“Kanikani with the Stars” is a good opportunity for you to come and practice your Te Ahurei Kapa Haka songs on stage before the event! If you are interested in doing this or have any kind of performance you’d like to add to the evening, please let us know and we will book you a spot.
