An email was received about our students wearing seat belts when travelling on school buses.

As you may or may not be aware we have a couple of Orange buses in our fleet which currently are on the Runanga and Totara Flat buses we also have another 2 coming which also have seatbelts and could be put on any bus route at any time. This email is to ask if you could please speak with ALL bus students the safety aspect of wearing a seatbelt and help enforce the rule that if there is a seatbelt it must be worn. (I’m sure they all wear them in a car)The drivers do tell them when they get on but some are just not wearing them. It’s for everyone’s safety.
