A chance to celebrate some of the cultures in our school community.

From the time of Pentecost, when the apostles were given the ability to speak many tongues, we have been blessed by a multitude of races, ethnicities, languages, and cultures. JPII is no different; in our small school, we have a wide range of ethnic groups that make up our school community. This week, we celebrated some of those cultures at an evening of food, talk, and display of entertainment. 

Filipino, Tongan, Fijian and Maori cultures were on display this year. Many thanks to the families who come along to support the students on stage and share with us all, a little bit of who they are. Congratulations to Ms O'Regan for organizing things in the background and to the students for the many hours of practice needed to accomplish what they did for the night. 

We look forward to next year when we can hopefully include even more cultures
