Extra credits on offer

Kia Ora everyone,

With this year looking very different indeed for our year 12 & 13 students we wanted to reach out early to give you our last school holiday short course dates for 2020. These will be in high demand and we recommend securing any place/s you may need for your students who wish to join us in the journey of learning, industry exposure and of course earning level 3 credits. Below are the options which are held from our Christchurch Campus:

• 28th, 29th & 30th September – Travel Short Course (9 credits, level 3)

Students will learn the importance of communication in the workplace. We discover all aspects of customer service and understand cross cultural communication. These are all very important skills for any workplace.

• 1st & 2nd October – Flight Attending Short Course (3 credits, level 3)

Students will understand the role and responsibility of this very popular role in the Airline Industry. We will get students to have a hand on experience using real on-board equipment and have an update of this area of the industry during these challenging times.

• 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th October – Communications & Marketing Short Course (11 credits, level 3)

Students will learn the importance of listening actively when gaining important information and the equal importance of responding professionally. We then dive into why companies are in business and learn of their competitors and customers. This marketing research unit is an excellent way to learn how to research companies when looking for that career opportunity.
