Rev. Greg comes to us with vast and varied experience in many facets of education. He will be working with our junior Maths classes. Welcome to JPII!

I grew up on the wild South African coast and have enjoyed spearfishing and surfing in a variety of countries. 

My family and I recently moved from Nelson for my wife to work as a priest at Holy Trinity Church. Following a career in the software industry, I served as a vicar in the Anglican Church and then as a science teacher at Nelson College.  

I have studied a range of disciplines, including mathematics and physics, computer science and theology. I'm particularly interested in the interface between science and religious belief and am currently supporting the Diocese of Nelson in the role of Ambassador of Science and Faith. 

My family and I enjoy the wild outdoors and are excited to get to know the Greymouth community and explore the West Coast!
