ARA Whānau Transition Information Evening
Ara is hosting an evening event on Thursday 25 June at 5.15 pm for students and their Whānau who are looking at preparing for higher-level study.
Information for courses starting in
July 2020 and February 2021
- including:
- Youth Guarantee
- Trades
- L3 & L4 Study and
Career Prep Pathway programs
- Diplomas and degrees
- Understanding how NCEA L1, L2 & L3 can unlock pathways into tertiary qualifications
- Pathway planning,
looking at what credits you have and help you find a starting point at
Ara
- Entry Requirements
including adjustments to University Entrance and Alternative Entry
Requirements
- Information on new
Targeted Training and Apprenticeship Fund (TTAF), Fees Free and
Scholarship opportunities.

5.15 pm – Welcome and registration
5.30 pm – Short presentation and Q+A session
This will be followed by an opportunity to speak with Ara Staff about personalized pathways, starting at Ara or help with your enrolment.
There is an option to start a second presentation at 6:00 pm if there is demand.
