Catholic Character

Social Justice Week 4 - 10 September

Many thanks to the staff and students who helped with the parish Mass last Sunday.  All the students attending enjoyed the support that the parish offered. Riley especially enjoyed discussing rugby over the cuppa tea.

Catholic character hub is busy this term, there are several projects with which they are involved.

Preparation for Social Justice Week and Liturgy presentation by Year 9 and 10 on 9th September.

Antioch preparations are all in hand. Ivory Rancho will be in each Friday to keep our students up to date with the plans.

In September we will look to Blessed Catherine McAuley, foundress of the Mercy Order and the Charism founded by her. Catherine’s Feast Day is 24 September. On Friday 23rd September, there will be cups of tea all round in MM1 with our exhibition on Mercy.

We look forward to welcoming the new look youth team from the diocese for our year 9 and 10 Reflection days in late October.

Please pray for our students as they approach their Derived Grade Examinations.

Student Prayer

Good morning, Lord!

Today's a new day, a chance for a new start. Yesterday is gone and with it all regrets, mistakes, or failures I may have experienced. It's a good day to be glad and give thanks, and I do, Lord. Thank you for today, a new opportunity to love, give, and be all that you want me to be. Amen.
