Take The Shot - Photo Competition Winners

Competition was fierce among the staff and students who entered, all hoping to be crowned top cell phone photographer.

Stuart Nimmo kindly offered his expert eye as the competition judge. The entries were varied, subject matter, lighting, composition, and colour were just some of the standout features creating photographs of unique and interesting character.

Raphaela Roper took out the top spot with her still life of book amongst clovers. Stuart commented on the use of light and shadow to create depth and interest in an otherwise simple yet intriguing image. 

We can all agree, it’s the type of picture we would expect to see on a Microsoft background, such is its universal appeal.
