Catholic Character

The Catholic Character hub is busy with preparations for Holy Thursday.

This week the CYT team from Christchurch joined us on Tuesday for Whanau time and class visits. As usual they enjoyed time with our students. Later this year they will deliver Reflection days to students in Years 9 – 12.

Today Year 13 students had a planning morning tea for the Cross Country for Ukraine. Students will wear house colours and there is face paint for all competitors.

Many thanks to Daniel Cresswell, our student representative on the Board for hosting this.

Palm Sunday saw our students at Sunday Mass. How amazing the church looked, all the palms! And our students on the cover of Inform, with an article about our Pancake races on Shrove Tuesday.

It has been a very busy term for our students, God Bless you all and have a safe holiday.

Easter Sunday, May the peace of the Risen Christ be with you.

E te Atua, God our loving Father,

You gift us with this world and invite us to respond with love and wisdom

Hehu Karaiti, Jesus Christ, beloved Son,

You show us how to live and call us to participate in your life and mission

Wairua Tapu, Holy Spirit,

You empower and guide us on our shared spiritual journey.
