Rural Health Careers Promotion Programme
On Wednesday we had six students from across the country studying a wide range of Healthcare Professions from Dentistry to Physiology. These students are part of Rural Health Aotearoa.
They gave an interactive workshop that included fun activities, teaching our students about human anatomy and what it is like studying medicine and health – all through practical techniques that you would use in real rural careers.
This programme aims to promote rural health careers to all rural young people and inspire them to pursue careers in health.
The students had a great time and asked a lot of great questions!
