WestREAP Offer Youth Surfing Therapy

WestREAP would like to tautoko the ‘Youth Surfing Therapy’ program planned for 14th - 23rd of December 2021. This outreach programme is of no-cost to participants and provides an opportunity that uses surfing to increase mental and physical health and well-being, as well as further develop interpersonal skills and knowledge of open-water safety. As an initiative sponsored by Canterbury Sport and Sport New Zealand, our program has been specifically designed for disabled learners and females ages 13-24 years old. Currently, we have eight places available for disabled learners, and sixteen places for female learners aged 13-24.
