This Sunday is the Feast of Christ the King, we offer this prayer.

Almighty ever-living God,

whose will is to restore all things in your beloved Son, the King of the universe,
grant, we pray,
that the whole creation, set free from slavery,
may render your majesty service and ceaselessly proclaim your praise.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.

Ma to matou Ariki ma Hehu Karaiti, tau Tamaiti,
e ora nei, e rangatira tahi nei korua i te kotahitanga o te Wairua Tapu,
Atua kotahi, mo ake ake.

The Year 13 liturgy was most rewarding on Thursday, and we were blessed to see the student leadership pass on to our current Year 12 students.

We remember all souls in November, and especially today former student Joseph Dunbar.   As a mark of respect the flag has been flown at half-mast. RIP.

Advent is upon us next week. The anticipation of the birth of Jesus, that signals for us family time, rest, and reflection after a long year.

Please keep all students in your prayers, with end of year examinations approaching, Year 10 camp and Year 9 students who will be enjoying away days.

Year 10 Religious Education, Applying 21st Century Technology to 15th Century Architecture.

This year, Year 10 Religious Education students have been involved with research and presentations in various ways. One of these ways was to present their work by using Minecraft.

Have you ever looked at the walls of a cathedral, a church, a university or a monastery in detail? Have you seen the patterns in the stained glass windows? Have you tried to duplicate a Michelangelo painting in little blocks? This is how the Year 10 students are combining the past with the future.

Click on the link below to be taken on a tour to some parts of their Minecraft worlds. See for yourself the finer details the students have picked up when completing these assessments.
