Karen Jackson - Teaches Violin, Cello, Viola, Fiddle
I am a passionate Musician, Music Teacher, and collaborator. I love most to share the love and magic of music with all levels and ages of ability.
Throughout my music career I have:
- Performed as a touring musician for 20 years
- Directed the "Sunshine Fiddle Camp" for 7 years
- Run many string workshops
- Been a Music Specialist in remote Aboriginal Communities
- Been strings teacher at Secondary Colleges, Steiner Schools and Primary Schools
- Run my own Music Studio
- Directed school "String Ensembles"
- Run community "Fiddle Clubs"
I love to learn and continue to study different music pedagogies and systems of learning.

- O'Connor Method USA (Technique, improv, Fiddle)
- Grade 8 Scottish Traditional Exams (Trinity College)
- Kodaly ECH
- Orff level 1
- Drumbeat (Group Djembe playing, rhythm development)
- Master of Education in music - 1/2 way through
- TAE (Training Assessment and Education) Certificate
My goal as a teacher is to pass on the love for music, build community and for everyone to have fun while doing it.
