Wednesday Speakers
This week we were fortunate to have Hazel Mathieson (Legal Executive) and Charlotte Perkins (Senior Associate Lawyer) from Corcoran French Lawyers formerly Hannan & Seddon.
Hazel talked about her pathway into Law and completing a Diploma of Conveyancing and Legal Executive Diploma all whilst working full time.
Charlotte attended Otago University where she gained a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts, she then started a job in Christchurch before settling down in Greymouth.
They talked in depth about the work that they do, what they enjoy about their jobs and the differences between a Lawyer and Legal Executive.
