We have had three trips away to Christchurch, with students travelling to see a performance at the Court Theatre on Tuesday, the Cricket team headed to St Bede’s on Wednesday for a friendly game, and while the rain won the cricket in the end, the boys competed well and showed off some great skills. Today our Teen Ag group headed off to Kirwee to take part in the Agricultural Field Day event. It is great to see our students taking up the unique opportunities available to them.

A survey has been emailed to parents from the Board of Trustees, I encourage all of you to please give your valuable feedback by completing this survey.

Being safe while using the internet and the latest technology that surrounds us, is very important in todays’ world. Next Wednesday we are privileged to have the Police coming into our school to work with each year level regarding cyber safety. That evening will be an opportunity for parents to participate as a follow up to the students session, more details further in this Newsletter.

This Sunday is Palm Sunday which marks the start of Holy Week. As part of the Catholic Community this week is important for all of us. I encourage our students to make a real effort to attend and be part of these important liturgies. Here at school, we will be finishing next Thursday with a Holy Thursday Liturgy. Our focus will be on the Stations of the Cross, and in doing so, we will be reminded of the journey that Christ took for our Salvation.
