Kia ora koutou katoa

It’s hard to believe that we have finished week nine of the term and have the term break just around the corner.

This week we had several groups heading to Christchurch for the netball Mercy Cup, and the Catholic Character group share Mass with the other secondary schools in the Christchurch Diocese. Special thanks to Jasmine Dodemaide and Joanie Roberson for giving so much of their time to support our students, and to our students for the superb way that they represented themselves, their families, and our school.

Next week, the Year 11, 12 & 13 Deans will start meeting with the senior students to develop individual education plans, so there is greater clarity about what they need to achieve with their courses, and milestones with tertiary and scholarship applications. We are hoping that with the suspension of the rolling strikes that students can go into term three with greater certainty about what they need to finish the year well.
