First steps to building your own business!
Keen to learn about building a business? The Youth Enterprise Scheme is the basis for a full day ‘Business Sprints’ programme for Year 9 and 10 students happening at school on Thursday next week.
There are places for 12 lucky students to join in. Lunch (pizza? Subway?) is provided by Development West Coast. Greymouth High School junior students will also be joining us. At 2pm, students will be ‘pitching’ the business idea that they’ll be guided to develop by Paul from Youth Enterprise to a small panel of invited judges. You do not need to arrive with an idea in mind, and you don’t have to take the idea beyond the day, though there will be a ‘Business Building’ course running for all students in 2023 if they’d like to explore business, innovation and entrepreneurship further.
