From the Principal

After a busy and emotional last week farewelling our Year 13 students, we started this week excitedly preparing and then heading off to Boyle River Camp with the Year 10 students.  So far we have had an amazing time, and it has been wonderful watching these students bond together and grow in confidence through the various activities. I have managed to capture some of the action and have attached some photos below.

Our Year 11-13 students are all studying hard and sitting their NZQA exams. I have been really impressed with the amount of work and study these students have been putting in.  All the best with the remainder of your exams, the hard work will pay off and be worth it in the end. (Don't forget your exam entry slip)!

A reminder that due to our computer network being at overload point, it has been decided that student cell phones will not be able to access our wifi network.  Students all have school access through their computers to their school work. Students are still welcome to have their phones at school (it is still teacher directed if they are allowed to use these in class).

It is with great pleasure that I am able to announce our Student Executive Team for 2022, which was announced at last weeks leavers assembly. I was very impressed with all of your applications and the way you were all very prepared and professional at your interviews.  Well done to all the leaders chosen, I know you will do JPII extremely proud. I have attached a profile of the student leaders and their role. Congratulations to you all.

I hope you all enjoy the extended weekend with Westland Anniversary Day on Monday and a Staff Only day on Tuesday.  I look forward to seeing you all back safely on Wednesday.
