I am proud of our students for their resilience, work ethic and good humour in what has been another challenging year. Last night’s Mass and Prizegiving was a wonderful celebration of student success, and I loved the opportunity to acknowledge our students who have excelled this year. It is always difficult when awarding students because not everyone gets a badge, a cup, or a certificate. However, there is great personal satisfaction to be had in knowing you gave everything your best.
A huge congratulations to our student leaders for 2023. I know they will be outstanding role models for our student body and exemplify servant leadership in their roles.

Today we hosted an induction day for our incoming Year 9s. It is a fantastic cohort and they had had an awesome day. We have 41 enrolments at Year 9 and it is great to see our school going from strength to strength. Thank you to our current year 9 & 10 students for their service today in showing our new students around. They didn’t let the weather hold them back and it was great to see them sampling different options and exploring the school. Special thanks to Quinn Berry who earned his ‘tong licence’ today cooking up a perfect BBQ. You’ve got yourself a job for life now, Quinn!
We have made some changes to the pastoral care team for 2023. We are committed to student success and wellbeing and have appointed a Dean for each year level. Deans will move through the school with their year groups and provide a pastoral and mentoring role for each year level.
