Scott Liddell — Dec 1, 2015

As 2015 comes to a close, it has been a great year to be part of Kauri House.

With so much going on around the school, it has been great to have such a wonderful group of young people to lead the house. Jesse Tappin, our Head of House this year, will not be a House Captain next year as he has been appointed Deputy Head Boy, which is a great acknowledgement. Tayla Mac Donald, Danae Morris and Jamie Parnham have done themselves proud as leaders and I wish them well in their future endeavours outside of secondary school.

When the seniors were on exam leave, the juniors really stepped up in the House Challenges. In the recent Talent Quest, we saw Kauri represented on the stage and Stevie Genet won the top placing, with Tessa Taylor coming close behind. Mr Lowe also chipped in by winning the staff section, before he jumps ship to Matai next year.

Have a great holiday break and make sure you all have a relaxing festive season. See you all next year for an even better 2016!
