It has been a busy year in the Careers department and many students have gained valuable advice from their careers interviews, guest speakers here at school and some taking part in work experience.

Some of the main events are listed below.  Most of the talks here at school are held during period 3 on a Thursday in the Senior Study Room and are open to all students to attend, especially senior students who have a study period at that time.  The dates for the Term 1 calendar be put in the school notices and also on the school's careers website, which we encourage students to check regularly or sign up for weekly updates.  It can be found by accessing the school website home page and scrolling down to the CareerWise website button.  The direct link is: https://kaiapoi.careerwise.school/. We have many employers, usually, local companies who contact the School when they have job vacancies and we actively work to help them fill these vacancies.
