On Tuesday 14th March, Mrs Williamson and Mrs Bowen took 22 students to the Turanga Library in Christchurch to attend a Careers in Uniform careers session.

First of all, the students had a brief talk from the Police, Ambulance, Allied Security, Defence Force, Ministry of Justice, Corrections, and Limited Service Volunteers, along with the training providers Vision College and the New Zealand Institute of Sport. 

The students then had time to chat with the individual organisations about different careers, training, and the application process. All the students seemed to really enjoy it and came away with a lot of information and ideas for the future. 

This was a new careers event and one that we will definitely support and attend in the future.
