Talented Visual Art students are recognised by our local community.

Three Kaiapoi High School Visual Art students had their artworks selected for the recent 'Spring Shop Window Treasure Hunt’ as part of the Kaiapoi community Spring Festival.

Stevie Cotton, Bridie Herriott, and Jade Wilson submitted drawings they had created around the competition brief: to create a Spring theme design. From a group of artists of all ages and levels of experience, they were then selected by the team at All Together Kaiapoi to scale up their winning designs to display in local shop windows for the festival.

Stevie Cotton’s design was on display at Paris for The Weekend and Bridie Herriott at Craze boutique. Jade Wilson had three artworks chosen, and these were displayed at Bloomscape, Shine Hair, and NZULU.
