KHS Swimming Sports
On Friday 9th April, the KHS Swimming Sports took place at the Kaiapoi Aquatic Centre.
The annual event was back on after being cancelled last year. It was fantastic to see a number of students get involved in both the competitive races, and even getting stuck into some social races, such as 25m Doggie Paddle.
This event was organised and run by Mr Foster’s Level 2 Physical Education class as part of their event planning assessment. It was awesome to see a number of students step up into their key roles to have the event run smoothly. Beth Dunbar did an awesome job running the show as the Marshal and Izzy Solomon-Ritchie did a fantastic job as the starter.
Matai won a tight house relay with some fantastic swimming, but full results are not yet clear and will come out later this week as the final data is entered.
