This week is Mental Health Awareness Week.

Here are a few ways to try to be aware of and improve your wellbeing:

1. Think about what is affecting your mental wellbeing, accept your emotions and try to live in the present

2. Connect with others and build positive relationships

3. Take time for yourself, respect and nurture yourself and do things that you enjoy

4. Look after your physical health through things like eating a good, healthy diet and a good exercise plan

5. Try to get a good night's sleep

6. Determine and live by your personal values

7. Identify and use your individual strengths

8. Ask for help when you need it.
