Thanks so much for clicking on this link! You’re obviously curious as to what the PTA gets up to at KHS.

We understand that Primary School PTAs are full of motivated, dedicated, hardworking fundraisers. They need to be, but luckily for us we don’t have such a driving pressure.

The Kaiapoi High School PTA Committee supports school events such as the New Families Meet the Teacher evening in February and the Open Night in May. We run two fundraisers – the ever popular Quiz Night in August and Entertainment Book sales.

We are a relaxed group of people who meet monthly on the first Tuesday evening. Our meetings are short and friendly and always have a senior staff member attending for us to grill on the latest happenings around school. We often have a speaker on a topic of immediate interest to school parents. These meetings are offered to everyone who wishes to attend, with no compulsion to join the committee at all.

Our committee numbers are dwindling, as members have their children leaving or have even left school. If you have ever thought, ‘maybe I could’, then you absolutely, definitely could.  We'd love to see you!
