UNDERSTANDING YOUR TEEN – 'ATTITUDE' SPEAKER – 25th OCTOBER

A guide to understanding a teen’s changing world. Tips on how to support your teen to be a happy, healthy, confident young person. Topics include self esteem, peer pressure, alcohol and decision making.

This will be held in the KHS Auditorium, starting at 7pm.  Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased from the Kaiapoi High School Office or telephone 03 3755004 or email PTA@kaiapoi.school.nz.  Door sales available on the night.

Annual Quiz Night

Another successful quiz night was held in September. 20 tables were sold, resulting in a great spirited atmosphere, with people stating that they are already looking forward to next year’s event. Thank you to all the PTA members for their time and help, special thanks to Scott Liddell for his wit and wonderful jokes, a great MC. Thank you to everyone who attended the evening.

We had many prizes generously donated by local businesses:-

Kaiapoi North Pharmacy, McDonalds, The Crossings Pharmacy, Sushi Ya, Day 'n' Night Kaiapoi, Kaiapoi Wash 'n' Wax, Hellers Meat, Caltex Kaiapoi, Kaikanui Tavern, Cattermoles Butchery, Spagalimi Pizza, Countdown, CBK, Repco, Mega Air Hornby, Alisha Robinson – Avon, Quartz Bar & Restaurant, Jagz Restaurant, New World, Blackwells, Super Liquor, Xanadu Hair, Zaafran Moroccan, Makana Boutique Chocolates, Christchurch Court Theatre.

Due to the success of the evening, the PTA raised over $1,800.00. These funds will go towards supporting various student activities.

Entertainment Books 2017
