Year 11 Calculator Competition
On Wednesday 27th June eight of our outstanding Year 11 Maths students competed against 21 Canterbury schools at the CMA Calculator Competition in Hagley College.
In the TEAM COMPETITION, there are 4 rounds, each with a set time limit.
ROUND 1: Straightforward calculations using some of the function keys.
ROUND 2: Calculations involving understanding order of operations.
ROUND 3: Using a calculator in formula substitution.
