It has been an excellent term for Totara House!

At the end of term two, we currently still reign number one in the standings and are consistently finishing near the top during house challenges. Senior House Captain, Maddie Hardy, is leading the way, with getting students involved and getting stuck in during challenges.

The major challenge for our House is to continue to maintain our current dominance and the only way for us to do this is to have as many students as possible get stuck in and give things a go. Points can be earned from weekly house challenges, involvement in sport, litter challenge, cultural activities and various other events.

Mr Kearney talks of the “vending machine” where there are opportunities a-plenty here at Kaiapoi High School and it is all about taking hold of these and giving things a go. If we are successful this year, my question will be, “what part did you play in our success?”.
