ARA Food & Beverage Competition

On Monday 27th June, Levels 2 & 3 Hospitality students had a 7am start to get to ARA's Food and Beverage competitions. These were being held at the Madras St campus.

Nervous students loaded the vans as the first student to compete, Keeley, needed to be ready for her 8.30 am class of savoury muffins.

It was a very successful day, with all 13 students who competed gaining medals in their respective classes. Krystal Murray succeeded in gaining the top award of 100/100 Gold with distinction in table setting. In the history of the ARA competition, this was the first time this had ever been achieved.

It was a great day for students to meet industry experts, polytechnic tutors, and students from other schools and courses.
