This term, a group of keen students attended an extension conference at St Andrew’s College.

We piled into a minivan and set off for a day of philosophical discussions, including the ethics of vegetarianism, the implications of quantum physics, and whether or not free will exists. Set in the school’s beautiful chapel, the students all enjoyed the change of scenery and stimulating conversations. After a day of brain-draining thoughts, we headed back to Kaiapoi High School, somehow more unsure of our existence than when we started - but in the best possible way. A great day all-round!
