It has been a great start to the year for Totara! We have a great bunch of bright eyed and bubbly year nines joining our ranks and the vibe amongst our classrooms and new buildings is fantastic.

Well done to our Senior House Captains for 2018, Brooklyn Codyre, (Head of House), Tia Board, Helen Matthews, Kaleb Fahey and Rueben Merrick. These students let their leadership abilities shine in the first couple of weeks of school and are currently doing a great job around the place. One of their first jobs was to select the Junior House Captains, who will find out shortly if they are successful.

Totara's new mascot is the Toa or warrior. W are currently fighting for second place on the House leader board and there will be plenty of opportunities for students to become involved in upcoming challenges, activities and initiatives in the remainder of the year.

I look forward to seeing a variety of faces step up and have a go!
