Learning Support trip to Antarctic Centre
On a warm sunny day on March 2nd, we visited the International Antarctic Centre as part of our SPEC Skills for Living programme in Learning Support.
These are the students’ highlights from the trip:
”Driving the snowmobile inside the centre”. Riley Dench
“Looking at the map of the south pole at the Antarctic Centre”. Macen Dowall
“In the cold room feeling a cold storm and wearing warm clothing”. Zach Hill
“Sitting in the snow truck eating lunch in the sun”. Dylan Johnston
“Riding the Hagluund”. Mrs Yardley
Thanks to Mr Johnston and his senior class for allowing us to come with them and to Mrs Enersen for supporting us.
