This month we had students from several Year 9 Visual Art classes and Year 10 Digital Art classes working on submissions for a Waimakariri District Council poster competition.

The competition was in support of Race Unity Day - 21st March. The theme of this year’s competition was ‘Celebrating Different Cultures in the Waimakariri District'.

Students were invited to design and create an A3-sized poster. Submissions from all schools will be judged by a group of local artists at the end of the month.
