The School's production of Oliver, held on 11th & 12th August, was a huge success and a credit to everyone involved.

It is always hard to appreciate how a production comes together and how much work goes into it, when all we do is sit back and enjoy it. The production brought the story of Oliver Twist to life. The cast morphed themselves into their characters and provided us with a truly spectacular show. The familiar songs had sections of the audience humming away and the presence of a live 'band' added to the atmosphere and provided a depth and richness to the vocal performances. The standard of set, props, costume, lighting, sound, acting, dancing, stage, etc. was outstanding and all added to the quality of the show. 

Kaiapoi High School has a proud tradition of providing opportunities for our students and our staff have always gone beyond the expected to facilitate this. Our students take these opportunities and bring to these occasions the personal 'excellence' they each strive for. 'Oliver!' was a huge success and enjoyed by all. Well done!
