On Tuesday 14th June, Mr McGillivray’s Level 1 Business classes held the annual Market Day.

At the start of Term 2, the classes got split into groups where we had to come up with our small business. These businesses decided to produce products ranging from wedges, pasta, hotdogs, etc. Throughout the term, we learned about all the different aspects of running/owning a small business. This consisted of making financial documents, learning and producing different market strategies, communicating with the community, learning how to promote a business, etc.

Overall, Market Day turned out to be a great success for all small businesses, and we all highly recommend taking Level 1 Business. We look forward to seeing the success continue in Term 3 when Miss Cox has her class complete the Market Day assessment as well.
