Year 10 Te Reo students and members of Te Rakiwhakaputa (K.H.S Kapahaka) supported Woodend School on Thursday 28th and Friday 29th November with their Cultural Day and Community Hāngī.

The high school students supported the primary students on Thursday by helping them make harakeke putiputi and participating in the kēmu. On Friday we were on hand to uplift the hāngī and serve it. They also performed an impromptū bracket after Mrs Simpson delivered her mihi, before it was all hands on deck for the much-anticipated feast.
