The Senior Drama class presented their class production of 'Away' to friends and family on Thursday 15th and Friday 16th June.

The NCEA Level 3 assessment had students performing Michael Gow's Australian play which is set in the Summer of 1967 and 1968. Three families this play tells the story of three internally conflicted families holidaying on the coast for Christmas. Each of the three families hopes that the holiday will resolve the crisis that they face.

The performances were well attended and the actors showed their skills, enabling the majority of the class to pass the 5-credit assessment with Merit and Excellence grades. Thank you very much to those who supported the students, and congratulations to the actors for convincing performances of an interesting play.
