On Friday 9th April, Kaiapoi's Pasifika students attended the SPACPAC Careers Expo at Ara.

This was a fantastic opportunity for our Pasifika aiga to see the multiple opportunities and pathways that they could take in the future. 19 students, which included Year 9s - Year 12s, went along to Ara to check out the various providers, which included the University of Canterbury, Ara, Department of Corrections, Victoria, etc. They were all stoked as they could ask questions to the various providers there and also see the different pathways that they could take after they finish high school. It was also amazing to see our Pasifika students connecting with the other Pasifika students from all the other schools in Christchurch.
