Kaiapoi High School warmly welcomes enrolments from overseas students for long or short-term study. We value the contact with students from other cultures and offer engagement, opportunities, and interesting subject choices. Our domestic students benefit from the diversity of having International students and share many experiences with them.

Kaiapoi has a population of 12,000 residents and is located 20 minutes from Christchurch International Airport. The town provides a safe clean environment and has easy access to all city amenities.

The School arranges top-quality, caring homestay families. Students can choose their preference of homestay, either close to Kaiapoi or further field in our rural areas or near the beach. All our host families are police vetted and have experience hosting students.
