The Scent win Young Enterprise Regionals!

Throughout the year, all Years 12 & 13 Business students took part in the Young Enterprise Scheme. Each group formed a business, completed challenges throughout the year to gain a spot at Regionals, where the top four teams from each Canterbury region competed.

The Scent, an eco-friendly air freshener business, made Regionals, which in itself was a fantastic achievement. The girls presented a five-minute pitch to industry leader judges and then waited patiently till the end of the night for the results. The winner of each region qualifies to go to Nationals to compete against all other regional teams.

The Scent were crowned the Canterbury Ōtakaro North region champions and are off to Nationals! This is a huge achievement, as only two out of 176 teams will represent Canterbury at Nationals.

Young Enterprise Nationals are held in Wellington on December 6th, and the girls are working incredibly hard to increase their sales and brand before this event.
