It is with great pleasure that I can now announce our Head Students for 2020.

Our school is somewhat unusual, as the Head Students are chosen by the staff and student body, and then I choose the Head Boy and Head Girl. I am always delighted at how similar the choices are between staff and students.

Congratulations to the following students:

Head Girl: Emma Blackwell

Head Boy: Leyton Wright

Deputy Head Students: Waiora Brooks, Katelyn Howe, Lollie Stallard, Jack Kelly, DJ MacDonald, Mana Joyce-Grace

Each of the Head Students will be given a portfolio at the start of the year. Their portfolio will be focused on improving the school culture or increasing the opportunities for our students. This is added to our usual expectations of speeches, school visits, community engagement… and the list goes on!
