In Science this term, we were focused on Forces and Motions.

We did a lot of learning about gravity, speed, and drag, and when it came to the end of the term, we went head to head with the other extension class, 10P. We headed out to the backfield where Mr Hill, a science teacher, had a massive set-up with an air compressor and a hand-made launching platform. 

It started off very smoothly, with each class alternating their teams, until Maddi and Layla from 10P’s rocket slipped off the stand and completely soaked poor Mr Hill through!! They had some tape on the cap which made it slip. 

We had comfortably held the lead with Issac and Oscar’s rocket a good distance from the rest until the second to last rocket came. Haylie and Sam’s rocket launched and completely cleared the field, securing 10P the win!!
