An important part of a Year 12 student's journey is deciding whether to apply for a Head Student role.

We are currently looking to recruit homestays for long-term stays, ranging from several months to a year, as well as short-term stays, which last for a few weeks or a couple of months.

Kaiapoi High School had the privilege of hosting Jake Bailey last Thursday, where he shared his personal journey of battling cancer and his subsequent discovery of resilience during tough times.

Kaiapoi High School will be having their Senior Formal ‘Tiaho Mai Ngā Rama - Garden of Lights’, on Friday 11th August.

Term 3 Sport sees the final weeks of the Winter Sports Competition, which we have a large number of students taking part in. We wish all our teams all the best as we get closer to finals time.

During the holidays we had students representing in regional and national tournaments in their chosen sport and it's great to be able to share these achievements.

After a weekend of torrential rain, flooding, slips and road closures, we managed to escape the chaos and travel as a group to Kaikoura.
