Kaiapoi High School PTA – Connecting Parents, Teachers, Students and School Management
On the
evening of 6th September from 5pm to 7.30pm in the School auditorium, the staff of Kaiapoi High
School will be offering Subject Selection advice, for all of 2017 Years 11, 12
and 13 students. All parents and students are invited to attend, to gain
information regarding pathways and academic choice selection for 2017.
Mrs McMeeken will also be running two sessions - at 5pm and 6pm in the Music Room for parents, explaining NCEA requirements.
On Monday 12th September the School is open for senior exams only. Juniors remain at home on that day.
All seniors: Yr 11, Yr 12 and Yr 13 have study leave for Monday 12th September, Tuesday 13th September and Wednesday 14th September. Students must attend their scheduled exam because it provides the back-up grade for the external examinations.
An email has been sent to all parents outlining the dates, times etc.
Exciting times ahead as building work will start in December 2016. There will be no interruption to the 2016 school timetable.

TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE AT THE SCHOOL OFFICE. LIMITED TO 25 TEAMS.
STUDENTS AND YOUNGER FAMILY MEMBERS ARE WELCOME AS TEAM MEMBERS.
BYO DRINKS (STUDENTS MAY NOT CONSUME ALCOHOL ON SCHOOL GROUNDS). LIGHT SUPPER PROVIDED. $60 PER TEAM (UPTO 6 MEMBERS PER TEAM).
For those new to the school community, Kaiapoi High has been running Quiz Nights since the 70s. School staff are keen competitors on the night. Winning teams have the honour of having their name engraved on the Shield. Lots of great prizes and raffles for sale on the night.
