The ICC Women's Cricket World Cup was held from 4th March - 3rd April 2022. Hagley Oval hosted 3 pool matches, Semi Final and the Final.

We love to receive news of KNS students participating & achieving outside of school. Bryden and Mason were asked to be Anthem Kids for the Semi Final - England vs South Africa. They got to lead the teams out on the field for the Anthems. They also participated in the innings break entertainment out on the field too.

The boys got to meet cricketing legend Sir Richard Hadlee.

There is also a photo with Alyssa Healy from Australia and the Cup. Australia won the tournament. Alyssa was also named the Player of the Final Match and also the Player of the tournament. 

Hagley Oval was incredibly well supported throughout the tournament with a total crowd of around 7,000 for the Final and was watched via social media and TV by more than 1 billion people worldwide.
