Akeake Students ace Minecraft!

On Wednesday last week, ten students from the Akeake team attended a Minecraft Competition at Tuahiwi School. Woodend School also had ten students attend and Kaiapoi High had a few students there to support. In teams of five, the students had to recreate the story of Ranginui and Papatūanuku. The students were judged on their teamwork, the blocks they used and how they represented the story. Kaiapoi North had the winning team! Matua Toi was very impressed by their teamwork. It was great to see the students connecting with students from other schools and playing together during the break. The Akeake students represented our school well by showing their values.
