Currently the Raupō Team are taking part in the Beach Education programme.

This is an opportunity to learn about sun and surf safety with a lesson taken by lifeguard instructors. This year we are all joining the lifeguards at Waikuku Beach. Rooms 5 and 6 enjoyed their time in the water last week, and Rooms 1- 4 are looking forward to their lesson later this week. Even though the water temperature is rather chilly, we are encouraging the children to be brave and give all activities a go. We could not have taken part in this programme if it were not for our wonderful parent helpers. Thank you.
